How to make a normal hookah clay head bowl

Making a clay head is very simple, here is just one of the few ways to making the perfect clay head. Enjoy!!

Step 1 - Dry the tobacco.
Step 2 - Sprinkle the tobacco around the base. 'Make it Fluffy"
Step 3 - Double fold the foil and make sure it is tight.
Step 4 - Create even holes around the head. (slightly tilt the toothpick to get around the rim of the clay head.
Step 5 - Set up your hookah
Step 6 - Fire up your coal and smoke up!

How to Make a Normal Hookah Clay Bowl?

There are many types of hookahs, tall hookahs, small hookahs, ice chambers, etc. The most critical factor is how to load your hookah bowl and choose the right bowl.

Here we will see the step by step process of how to make a hookah clay.

The process of starting a hookah bowl is closely related to the type of bowl you are using. In this tutorial, we are using the classic Egyptian clay head. When you have selected your bowl, then you will have to focus on your shisha flavour. Use your hands or Shisha fork or some toothpick to stir and mix shisha flavour and make sure that the flavouring juices are correct. In this way, you can get both great flavour and high clouds as well.

The next step is to take a Hookah Foil or any bowl screen to support the hookah coals.

Now take a sheet of foil and then place it over your full hookah flavour. It is essential to centre the foil and carefully wrap it around the top of the bowl. If the foil is not tight, then the coals' weight will make the foil sag, and your coals will be sitting right on top of your shisha. Use your one hand to hold the foil from one side of the bowl and use your second hand to pull down on the foil on the other side of the bowl and then rotate the bowl and repeat the process until the foil is pulled down tightly across the entire circumference of the bowl. Now that your foil is secure across the rim of the bowl use your hands to firmly squeeze the excess foil to the sides of your bowl, ensuring that the foil will stay in place during your whole process.

Once you have tight the foil on top of the hookah bowl, now you will have to pierce lots of tiny holes in the foil starting from the middle to allow the heat to transfer from the hookah coals to the hookah flavour. If you made the holes big, then ash from the coals will automatically mix with the shisha. 

So, that’s all! You have successfully made a perfect hookah bowl of shisha flavour.  Place your bowl on top of your bowl stem, add some hookah coals that are glowing red hot on top of the foil, and get to smoking!
